If at the level of the green zone of Dawson a vein suitable for depth and caliber is located, it is not necessary to tunnel the catheter: the PICC can be implanted with the traditional method, i.e. with the venipuncture site that coincides with the exit site (non-tunneled PICC).
We recommend to use power injectable PICC, in latest-generation polyurethane, non-valved and open-ended.
